I'll share what I've come up with so far.

 This very vintage and beautiful witch

has her dance card in hand,

ready for the Halloween ball.

I adore the vintage German calendar background.

I have a wonderful set of these calendars

that I purchased from Valerie at

My Digital Daydream.

 Isn't she a sweetie?

I'm sorry but in my book, wings and pointy hats never go out of style.

I wish this one photographed better.

It really has a lot of pretty detail that I wasn't

able to capture.

      (Opening the pictures by clicking on them does help though.)  

 

I'm not hosting an atc swap this Halloween

but we are doing twinchies over in my

flickr swap group.

Celebrating the Return of Haunted Hump Day with a Swap!

Hard to believe

but it is that magical, wonderful

time of year again

when our thoughts turn to

HALLOWEEN....

& Halloween swaps!



These are pictures of a swap I took part in

a few years ago.

 I love each artists

depiction of Halloween

 and the different mediums used

 and all the fabulous embellishments.

 In each pocket we placed

handmade tags and cards.

 Not only do these turn out great

but they're inexpensive and easy.

 Your "page" is simply a brown paper lunch bag

folded in half.

After decorating the front, back and inside

the pages are layered together.

holes punched,

and bound.

Wow, it's been awhile!

The weather here has turned cool and rainy

and brought me back indoors

away from my yard and fairy gardens.

So I started playing with

paper...

and sizzix dies...

 

 and digital images...

 

 and bits and baubles...

 

For my swap partner in

Summer's Enchanted Garden

....was the theme

for a domino book swap

in my flickr group.

As my garden has been the source

of my inspiration

for several weeks now,

this project was a joy to create.

at my local studio.

with all things miniature

so fairy gardening is a natural fit.



 I've had great luck finding

unique containers at estate sales...

once you have a home,

the fairies will find their way!
