Must Be the Season of the Witch

When I returned to my long neglected blog
this past July it was with the intention
of picking up where I left off.
Now here it is, the beginning of my favorite season
and finally, another post.

First I must express my gratitude to all my blogging and swapping
friends who took the time to wish me well.
I can't begin to express how appreciative I am for your
kind words and well wishes.

I am happy to report that I do not have any life threatening
illness or condition.
I do have a life changing condition..
one that I am slowly adapting to.
Chronic pain has kept me from so much of what
I enjoy.
My time has been spent in physical therapy,
receiving epidural injections
and wandering through the world of pain management.

So bear with me while I slowly return.
I can't wait to catch up with all of you and eventually
I would love to resurrect the swap group
if there is still an interest.

For now I'll share a couple of witchy tags
I've made for a swap.

I am back!
Must be the season of the witch!

We Played Halloween Tag!

My friend Kimberly always hosts the best swaps! She assembled the nicest tag books ever for her Halloween Tag Swap...
She made these beautiful witchy wood block tags for the front of our books. Each participant created 5 tags and we received a book of tags from 5 different artists.

If you missed my tags you can see them HERE. Thanks to all the artists for such wonderful tags, and a huge thank you to Kimberly for hosting yet another fabulous swap!

Bewitching Tags

Kimberly, of artJOYstuff is hosting a Halloween tag swap...
HAD to join this one!
Each magnificent witch has a feather and flower in her hat and a flurry of embossed, sparkly black bats to her right. The bottom of the card is trimmed in tulle, lace and fabric bats.
The back of the tags have my all time favorite vintage Halloween moon. I'll be sure to share my swapped tags with you!

Getting A Little Gothic

I've been working on Halloween for the many swaps I've committed to and wanted to share these gothic tags I just finished. The scalloped trim and fabric bats provided the perfect finishing touch.

Many swaps are closed but one that's still open is hosted by Debi at the Bloggerette Sorority.
Now I KNOW I have probably a couple hundred sorority sisters out there and hopefully many more who would like to join us. If you haven't signed up to swap yet, what are you waiting for? Something is a-brewing........

TAG, You're It!

Well one of you will be "it" for sure this Friday when random.org does it's thing and selects the winner of my Halloween Giveaway. And this is the final Spooky Monday before the giveaway so I thought I'd play a game of Halloween tag before naming who's "it".
I ink aged some standard shipping tags and stamped with one of my favorite Halloween verses,
took a few more and inked and stamped and collaged a little,
then tied them together making a spooky tag book.

And for my prefer-vintage-over-spooky friends, these tags are for you!
So if you want a chance to be tagged, and haven't entered yet, you can do it HERE.
